MAN O’ WAR PLEDGE I pledge to try my best To work for the good of Man O’ War Nigeria and all mankind To abide by the rules and provisions contained in the code of conduct To try always to set highest examples in discipline, fairness and efforts And to endeavor to become a good and reliable citizen in my fatherland So help me God.
Man O’ War Nigeria was established by the Federal Government, through the Citizenship and Leadership Training center as empowered by its enabling ordinance as published in the extra-ordinary gazette no. 45 of august 10 1960 as modified by decree no. 38 of December 1989. It is a Federal Government Established Paramilitary organization with volunteer membership drawn from the Nigerian general public with cadet arms in schools and colleges all over the federation. The structure is broken into National Command at Abuja, State Command, Area Command at the Local Government levels And Unit Command at the Wards. The enabling Ordinance effectively placed the establishments and running of the Man O’ War Nigeria under the Citizenship and Leadership Training Center Nigeria. MEMBERSHIP AND CONDITION FOR MEMBERSHIP MEMBERSHIP a. Membership into the Man O’ War Nigeria shall be through the filing of recruitment form obtainable from the National Headquarters through the state commands or approved outlet. b. Duly completed recruitment forms shall be verified appropriately and the list of successful candidates made public at all the appropriate commands. c. Verified members shall undergo recruitment and induction training courses before final investiture during which they will administer Oaths of Allegiance. CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP For any person to be recruited into Man O’ War Nigeria. He shall meet the following conditions: a.Be 18 years and above b.Have a minimum of secondary school certificate c.Be ready to abide by the Man O’ War Code of Conduct d.Must be medically fit e.Must be honest and devoid of questionable character f.He must be able to write and communicate in English g.He must be free of criminal record h.He must be a Nigerian...
